Those converters come in 3 different sizes (1,9kW, 4,8kW & 9,6kW) and are particularly relevant in severe environments such as defence and aeronautics where efficiency and performance are key.
Options available to comply with MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 704 and DO-160.
Applications: Automotive, defence, aeronautics
Advantages:
•Reversible capability
•Wide input voltage, up to 950V
•Single or multiple output options
•Software selectable output voltage
•Harsh environment
•EN62368-1 reinforced input-output isolation
PFC VITA 5kW
PFC VITA 5kW
With outstanding power density (5kW/l) and efficiency (95%), BrightLoop Converters 5kW ACDC power factor correction (PFC) has been developed for aerospace applications. The PFC incorporates GaN transistors and a built-in EMC filter to offer best-in-class performance, size and price. It operates from an input voltage of 60 to 180VAC.
Applications: Aeronautics, defense
Advantages:
•Software settable output voltage
•Reversible capability
•PFC, DO-160 harmonics compliant up to 800Hz
•EN62368-1 reinforced input-output isolation
•CAN remote control & monitoring
•MIL-STD 461 compliance
•Conduction & convection cooling options
BB SP
BB SP
The BB SP is relevant in any dual voltage architecture (14V/48V or 14V/24V), or where a certain load is available only with a voltage that is different from the regular network, in which case the conversion can be done by the BB SP locally, just in front of the load. The BB SP is suitable for mild hybrid applications such as electrical starting assistance.
Options available to comply with MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 704 and DO-160
Applications: Automotive, defence
Advantages:
•Reversible capability
•Software selectable output voltage
•Harsh environment
•EN62368-1 reinforced input-output isolation
•Best-in-class power density
